The SCAR Standing Committee on Antarctic Data Management (SCADM), the Arctic Data Committee (ADC), and the Southern Ocean Observing System Data Management Sub-Committee have collaboratively released “A Brief Guide to Publishing Data for the Polar Research Community” on April 7, 2025. This guide offers practical tips to help researchers ensure their data are FAIR—Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. By adhering to these guidelines, scientists can enhance the discoverability and usability of their data, facilitating integration with other datasets and promoting proper citation and attribution.
